    Politics

Hardly anyone signs the book anymore. I can only think this is becasue either no one is looking at this site, or you have nothing to say. In which case I am going to try and comment on stuff that will simply make you HAVE to sign the guestbook to put me straight.

    From blewbmx:

“There were lots of buisness men in suits there, and a lady with no arms, i tried not to look in a kind of look at her from the corner of my eye kinda way.”

I saw a girl with half her arm missing the other day. That’s pointless isn’t it. Fascinating though. People tell me not to stare when I see freaks about but I think it’s only natural.

More freaks here. You have to read that. It’s hilarious. It’s amazing that someone con be so sensitive about their appearance. She must be able to tell that she looks like a freak.

I don’t know her name, and since she admits searching google for it and I don’t want her to find this, I’ll just call her Buzz. Here’s a picture by the way:

_1220239_300lucas.jpgBuzz seems to have a problem with people who find her appearance disturbing. Come on. Look at her chin. She looks like someone off of Bo Selector. If you saw her walking down the street don’t tell me your wouldn’t stare. I think she was on a program called “What are you staring at?”. Isn’t it obvious? Her chin.

Also here. She seems to have massive problems. First she says she doesn’t want plastic surgey becasue her chin is part of who she is. Then she says that just because she has an usual face doesn’t mean she is different on the inside. That’s a contradiction. Then she moans about people who are mean and call her names, and in the next sentence goes on to say that she doesn’t want people’s pity. What does she want us to do? This article is entitled “Look me in the face.” And yet she is moaning about people staring at her. What are we meant to do then? To infinity and beyond.

Chris has been digging hard. Respect.

Also the shovel load has one of the best updates ever.

    I think this is amazing.

    Ghetto

There’s a lot going on at the moment but no new pictures to show you. There are two ghetto sites in the making. One dirt in Headcorn, and one ramp in Tenterden, so that’s this weekend sorted. This is the old ghetto. More pictures on Noid.

I made some stickers yesterday with this picture on. Ask for one when you see me. I’ll say “sorry I left them at home by mistake.”

I have about 3 pages worth of non-riding media if I ever get round to making the pages.

Rudi is back in the UK. Go and visit Tim – 22 Downs Close.

Chris has bought good hosting: smallwheelsbigthrills.COM This is one of his pictures:
    trailspage2.jpg

hoogyth.jpgAlso I went digging last night at Hoggs Green, so if there are any pikies reading this you better get down there quickly and knock it all in before it gets hard. I’ll be down again soon to rebuild in any case. It’s staying this time.

Also I have fixed my bike pretty well. I put Nigel/Tom’s old profiles on and the spin round a treat. Lighter than my Smack-daddies, which took about 2 hours to get off. And I have some nice new brake cable which is like an elastic band, which is bad.

Sittingbourne tonight maybe, and a trip to Abingdon soon definatly. Give me a date Jack. 😉

I miss these trails. They were only ridden properly once and all the pictures are taken through a wide angle lens with zoom so they never made it to the internet.

    Wednesday

Today is going to be one of the longest days ever, I can just feel it. I wanted a day off to go to Harrow with Yak and Aidan, but I have to stay at work to answer the phones. I am going to keep a log of every call that I take today here, which will be added to as I receive calls:

Call 1 – 9.10: A gentleman rings to find out where he can hire a bike in Maidstone to go on a bike ride. Very strange since we have nothing to do with hiring bikes – I think the number was a misprint. So I went on Yell and found the number for Bewl Water so he could ring them and see if they hire bikes at this time of year.

Call 2 – 10.55: Becky rings to ask what time I will be home.

Call 3 – 12.27: A call from someone wanting to know how long the roadworks in Teston will be there for. Again nothing to do with my department, but I kind heartedly put him through to Maidstone Highway Unit.

So as you can see it was a total waste of a day. On top of this, there is a business support team who we sit next to who can take all our calls for us. I hope you had a good day team shovel load.

On a more interesting note I now have 19 items on ebay. Look at this one.

    Michael Jackson’s face.

michaelsick.jpgSeriously what has he done to his face. He looks like a seal. It’s art you know. Well ok maybe it is art. But firstly what kind of idiot practices art on their face. And secondly I don’t think he’s very good at art. Either that or he has very bad tase.

Ok if I am honest I do actually like some of his music. And not in a cheesy I’m cool becasue I’m hip and like Billy Jean. I do actually think he has written some good songs.

Whether or not he is a child abuser I really don’t know, so I won’t bother to even speculate.

But what really fascinates me his his strange face. I think if we are honest we all find people who look different quite fascinating – midgets or people with fingers/hand/arms missing. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that – you are bound to find something unusual interesting. But you have to pretend that you don’t becasue it’s not accecptable to society, plus it is rude to stare at people.

But Michael Jackson is different. He has done this to himself. On purpose. He wants to look like that. And that’s fine he can look like whatever he wants. But if he’s going to be famous and live the life he does he has to put up with people telling him that he looks like a freak. Which he clearly does.

That’s a plaster on his nose by the way, not his skin falling off. Yet.
    mjackson.jpgmjackson2.jpg
From a website: “This is the end result of millions of dollars spent on plastic surgery and surgical skin color alterations. This image is undoctored. Its origin is unknown. Sent to me from a fan.”

    Summer

P1010016.JPGSeb took this photogrpah. I think it is amazing. Summer is on it’s way. I can smell it in the air. I fear lots of rain though. Watch the Ash and Oak.

Dirt Lads has a couple of updates. A video and a really good page of trampoline, rope swing, ghetto, dark trails, summer trails and random stuff. Go there.

I thought I was going to Harrow with Yak this week, but it looks like everyone at my office is off work so I can’t again. I keep changing my story like an elevator, but I really want to go so. It’s not my fault.

Yeh so for lots of people it’s half term. Happy holiday lucky people. Go and dig.

Oak before Ash you’re in for a splash. Ash before Oak, you’re in for a soak.

    Exploring

One of the funnest stages of trails has to be looking for a new place. We found one of the best places ever. Indoors.

The sky was really good this weekend. And the sun came out which was long overdue.

Found this barn too but it’s not a lot of good as it is too small.

We were digging and saw some dog walkers so we hid. It was fun.

    GBH Ramps

    bristol_email.jpgLisa-GBHRampsPR.jpg
I got an email from Lisa at GBH ramps. She’s a hottie. Who calls their skateboard park company Grevious Bodily Harm Ramps? That’s just asking for trouble. The links are pictures. I think I am supposed to tell you about the new skatepark they have built in Bristol. That’s it above. Here’s a review from somone that’s never been there.

The spine is too small. There’s no jump box. There’s no quarter at the roll-in end. They are the things I don’t like.

Things i like – Flood lights, Spine mini, Quarter to flat bank hip (alley oop transfers.), Nice big space out the back for skaters to roll aroubnd and crankflip in/flatland/ghetto ramps. Transfer from spini mini to roll-in.

Things I am not sure about: Is the spine mini big enough? Should there be more hips (between the 2 quarters maybe). Is the volcano ridable by anyone who isn’t insane?

GBH make concrete bowls as well. Can we have a discount on one in Headcorn for all this great advertising? I’ll make you a website…

    Ashford

Go here and tell Ashford council that they need a new skatepark. The town is supposed to be doubling in size over the next few years, and they are threatening to turn the current skatepark site into a lake, so we need to start making our voices heard.
