    Trailsalt

There is a lot of hate on the internet these days. I don’t look at the internet much these days. There’s more to life you know.

All I know is that is you haven’t been digging any jumps this winter then there is no way you deserve to be riding other peoples. Go and dig now, it’s wet enough.

It has been very wet but maybe that’s good for the trails.

    Scruffian.

A quick search for “Scruffian” on the interweb gave me the following interesting stories (2 links). And also a poem.

The first mention relevent to my site (apart from my site itself) is this one. So I recommend getting yourself a link on BMXWEB.com.

And you’ll never guess what. This page is using this image, directly linked to my site. The cheek.

Runing down corridoors through automatic doors.

My boss went to watch a football match between Margate and Folkestone last night. He came in this morning and said the game had to be abandoned becasue one of the players died. You can read about it here.

Apparently he just fell over and died. He must have been fit, which is pretty worrying. You never know when you might just fall over and die – like Walt Disney’s mother.

I went to the hospital last night about my broken hand. They weren’t sure if I’d broken a bone or not but said that either way I just have to wait for it to get better – there’s no point in getting it reset. So that was a waste of time, except I got a free splint. He man in the hospital was good though to give him credit.

    Coxhoe Skakepark

Another press release from Lisa at GBH ramps here. She put love in her email this time…

They have built some new ramps in Coxhoe which is in the north somwhere. I will probably never go there but I might as well do a review anyway.

Here are some pictures of the ramps:
    GBHCoxhoeSkatepark.jpg
    GBHCoxhoeSkatepark2.jpg
They look like they are metal covered in non-slip paint.

Good things about this skatepark: floodlights, separate “skate” section – where the steps are – to get the skaters out of the way. Transitions between the hips to make smaller hips which look fun, lots of fun looking volcano things, the spine mini section at the back looks really fun.

Bad things about this skatepark: money wasted on a bench and steps, small spine is too small, no good box, big volcano might be too big.

All in all it looks like a pretty well built park. Maybe a bit more consultation with riders would have been good as I can see a few tweaks that would help matters, but there are a few good lines.

It’s hard to tell without having ridden it really.

I want a meaning from the back of my broken hand

No riding for 2 1/2 weeks becasue I can’t grip my bars – I think I must have broken a bone in my hand. I have been ill as well so not a lot of anything much has been going on except lying in front of the tv. It’s strange when you can only breathe through one nostril.

http://www.bmxfraternity.net is a very good wesite.
The Shovel Load is always worth a visit.

I can feel their blue hands touching me

Flowers are out ar the trails

And they are riding now too. These photos were taken at about 7:30 which is why they are a little dark.

This ditch is too long to fit into one picture. It’s windy too.

Tim noticed yesterday that the titles of my news entries are usually taken from songs so I guess that’s a new game for the book.

    Working

There’s not much news at the moment. I got back to work with about 60 emails waiting for me. I am down to about 7 now. I am very jealous of everyone who is off school at the moment. People at school get 13 weeks holiday a year. People at university get 22. I get 22 days which sucks. Make the most of it.

Another thing that sucks is that my wrist still hurts when I grip things so I think it might be broken. Might go and get an x-ray soon.

The weather is nice at the moment. Have some old pictures:
