It’s nice when two of your favourite things come together

Can someone bring a copy of the new dig to the trails on Saturday please. Thanks 🙂

I have a lot of respect for people who build trails. Especially when they are building about 5 miles from two of the best sets of trails in the country like these guys.

I remember when Will and Max started off Wingham, and I advised them to just go and dig at Epsom, or some other trails near them. I am glad they ignored me. Having your own trails is a totally unique experience and I am so happy that some people do it.

Pretty busy weekend. Digging at three different sets of trails. Things are slowling coming together for the summer.

We tried riding Joeys on Saturday. I was terrible. Couldn’t make it over the second properly most of the time. They were pretty soft though so hopefully they will work really well when they are dry and hard.

Its amazing how many people crawl out of the woodwork when the sun comes out. Where were you when it was raining and cold?

Tonight: sittingbourne or trails?

Most people’s trails are very dry. I was looking at the weather last year, and it seems things were very dry about this time last year. This was very dry. Last year it was then very wet in April and May, so that may happen again this year. It might not though. I think this is my favourite jump I have built, but I’m working on some stuff now that might beat that.

Liam spends almost as long cleaning his car as I spend shaping lumps of mud. Shiney Shiney.

If this doesn’t make you go and do some digging then you might as well quit.

I had a letter from the council today. It looks like they might grant temporary (2 years) permission, but some thing need to be changed at the jumps first. I would like to get down there next saturday with as many people as can join me so we can sort out the stuff they want changing and get stuff running better for this summer. I would also like to make a smaller line so there is more stuff that people can ride. Please come and help e next saturday!

Paul and Tom have both been to the new park in maidstone and say that it is too slippery. Some skaters have made a film. It looks like it would be good if it weren’t so slippy.

Went to Sittingbourne tonight. It was not that fun. I need to ride some jumps. Here are three dodgy 360s. I can’t clear the box. How can I do them better?
