This month has been good for trails so far. Bit too much rain the last few days which is a shame.

There are also some rubbish pictures of Sittingbourne up if you are really bored.

Right let me get straight to the point. Anyone who has their own trails knows how much work they take. It’s not just a case of digging some jumps for a few hours in January, there is the constant task of maintainence. This becomes an especially big job when a lot of people come and ride your jumps.

This endless task of maintaining trails is not something that anyone enjoys, but it’s the price you pay for having something good to ride on your doorstep. This is why it’s important for everyone who rides the jumps to do their bit in looking after them.

The following people helped dig at Tenterden yesterday: Tom, Nigel, Dean, Rob, Myself, Greg, Joe and Tim. In fact Jonny C did a few shovels as well.

Trail bosses Tom and Nigel were there from about 10 and got stupid amounts done.

Evidently no-one else cares enough about the trails to want to ride them anymore. This is actually fair enough, for example, Paul has quit riding trails since he knocked himself out. We didn’t expect him to help out since he’s not down there anymore.

[This obviously does not apply to people who don’t ride in Tenterden – what’s the point in digging somewhere if you aren’t going to ride them.]

Twenty Questions: A fun website. Try and think of an object that it can’t guess.

House Price Crash: House prices are falling, like it or not. It will take five years maybe for them to be sensible prices again, but it’s happening.

Ashford Borough Council: Ok so that one isn’t interesting, but I overheard someone saying earlier that it was a terrible website, it didn’t even have their phone number on it. In the end they looked it up in the phone book. What’s that right in the middle of the front page? Oh look, the telephone number. Numpties.

Gunther Anderson: This guy is a legend. Look around his websites. He has 1000 decks of playing cards, and he has listed them for us to see. He has listed all the films he owns, or would like to own, and to top it all off there is a picture of his cat. Funniest website ever?

Saturday is Tenterden digging jam. I know a lot of people that have ridden these trails but never dug there and it’s pretty crappy, so go and give something back. If there’s one thing I would like to get done it’s the 3rd landing in the big line.

Seb just passed all his exams and will be going to study in Cardiff. I hope you had a good summer and look after yourself in Wales.

In Extras, the new sitcom from Ricky Gervais, there is a character called Maggie who askes questions like “Would you rather burn to death or freeze to death”. This reminds me a lot of Seb. He always asks “What would you do if…” questions, or “who would you rather kill, your brother or your sister”, Answers in the book.

Probably the most fun of these questions is the 10 metre game – you have to choose who you would kill in a 10 metre radius.

I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve.

That’s Steve on the right. About a year ago we looked for the word Shrimmo (that’s Shrimmo on the left) on Google and nothing came up. I tried to change that but to no avail. This is another attempt – I have put it as a title to help googlebots find it. I hope that if I say the word Shrimmo enough times then it will be found. This was a fairly fun place to work. Not all heads down, type type. I could show you a graph of people verses profits and where does the line go?

I have just been looking back at old pictures and it made me remember how sad winter is – I actually feel quite sick just thinking about it. I really hate it. It’s so long and so cold and boring. I am going to hibernate and play the guitar for a long time.

This website is really good. More people should support it. I added Lenham skatepark. As you can see it is terrible.
