To celebrate the summer here is a video of some trails that were started about this time last year and lasted a month.

I don’t have any bike media really, except a tape from Woburn Jam which I can’t be bothered to go through at the moment. Maybe in a few weeks…

Here are some pictures of Sittingbourne last night. I didn’t take many pictures and tim took even less so they are all of him.

There photos are from a week ago. I went to the park at lunch time and then loads of people turned up just as I was leaving. One of them was this guy who had 4 pegs and 2 brakes. He did lots of good tricks like disater to front wheel tap to disaster, very long ice picks, tailwhip to tyre tap, tailwhips over the box, 540 front wheel manuals over the box, riding on the rail, front peg stall to footjam whip (not pulled) and loads of other mad stuff.

This guy often runs past the skatepark. Who likes short shorts?

Disasterous.

Here are some photos I took last Thursday at Sittingbourne. There are no good ones becasue I only used the camera for about 5 minutes as I was riding a lot.

First up, some guy I have no clue, high on the curved wallride.

Ok, Netley (awayoflight.co.uk), 540 tyre trap probably, and Rory (barendbmx.co.uk) over the volcano/hip. I really can’t ride this thing. For some reason it is a lot harder than a normal volcano

That’s Mark Love/John Love/Maggot on the left. I totally mistimed this but I like the way it looks anyway. On the right, good to see Tim back on his bike again. Sittingbourne was pretty fun. My favorite thing is still the spine mini, but the box is ok as well now. Another trip soon I think, maybe when I’ve got the slave that yak told me about.

Just been looking through some old media. This is one of my favorite old media page. The riding sucks and the trails are bad, but i really like the photos. Some of the light looks really good.

Went to Swanley skatepark a while back and took some photos which have only just found their way to the internet. Now it’s raining there is time to start putting some unseen media up. Just a few tricks:

A wimpy 360. Just go faster you wimp.

This hip is fun. This park can be ridden in the dark almost as their are street lights around it.

As you probably know we were planning a trip to Sittingbourne on Wednesday. We really should have called ahead. This is the second time this has happened to me. Yep, you know what I am taking about – it was closed. Why do I do this? It’s not that hard to just pick up the phone. So after looking around for a while and not being able to find any way to break in we set off home again. Me and Tom really wanted to ride though so we decided to stop off in Maidstone. We dragged Nigel along as well but he was really much more interested in the fast food outlets.

So we played around in some multistory car parks for a bit, airing out the ramps, and trying a few 180s and manuals here and there. Then we went down to the law couths and did this wall ride a few times and tried out some urban tobogganing.

We came across an empty lorry yard with some pallets in it, so we built a little quarter thing. No sooner had we finished it than security came along to throw us out. i was glad they didn’t make us put the pallets back.


That was about it. We went back to the car and drove home feeling really depressed as we were really looking forward to Sittingbourne and all we got was crappy street.
