I also went to Swanley at the weekend. I was the only one there on a Saturday. It was getting dark and I was trying 270 tyre taps on this hip.

From Random Bmx:
Just got some info and a new park Kevin Garwood has been building…
“West Kingsdown skatepark, it’s been open for the last couple of weeks… The park is real small, but it’s got a loada stuff crammed in, nice volcano, few quarters, wallrides, driveway/grind box, hip line, and a box/sub-box/mellow quarter type thing there, so it’s all good and rideable! ”

I went to this skatepark at the weekend. There are some good things about it and some bad things. The street spine was really nice, and it was fun to just air the quater, do the spine, tyre tap and go back. Next to this line is a 5ft lip and 6ft platform box, which is probably 6-8 ft long. It is really big and has a trany landing which is great, but it’s just too big for me to be able to get the speed. Also if you can get the speed you are shot into a small quater which is very hard to air at that speed so it’s brakes time. As you can probably see from the pictures, the ramps are very close together which means you can’t fit those pedal strokes in.

The other side of the park is driveways and stuff to keep the skaters out of the way, which is good. Also there is an inset quater which is good for walltaps, which I can’t do. The hip is fun but thin if you want to do it regular. In fact it seems that most of the park is built from someone that rides left foot forwards. The ramps are well built though and ride nicely. The transitions are good and well finished and it all feels right.

Here is some tricks. Air, Someone who could actually clear the box, and a trye tap which is harder than it looks from this angle. -
These are the toilets at Tunbridge Wells district council offices. This is where the council members come to urinate. Interesting.Went to a meeting about Tenterden Skatepark last night. It takes a long time to build a skatepark.
I am desgining a website for money at the moment which is why this site has been a bit neglected.

Stayed in a hotel on Saturday. Bling.

This is not even fake. -
Went digging the other day with the headlamp. It’s hard to see exatly what you are doing. This is what you need to go digging at night. A warm jacket, a bag with water and food, a radio to scare off the ghosts, a spade and a shovel.

It’s cold. -
There is no news. I have lots of pictures on my camera but I have been too busy. Updates will start to roll in at the weekend I hope. New Pretty Shady site soon as well apparently, if I ever get on MSN to help Joe. Tenterden skatepark meeting on Friday.
This stuff is still too cheap.
I learnt some stuff at work like: Don’t use the word brainstorm because people with epilepsy find it offensive. Use instead, word storm (which people with dyslexia find offensive!?).
No pictures either. What to do in a situation like this?
Go and update unknown trails rider
Look at the shovel load
And go to sprocket grind. -

Noid Tom at unigate. This is just the inspirtation i needed. Pete rules. Reminds me of the good old days. So much fun. I don’t have a lot of time to make skateparks out of wood these days. Too much time spent making skateparks out of mud instead.

The second file was the one which I originally desgined (with the pictures in it). The first file is what IT turned it into with their meddling little ways. I got an email from them saying:
“I was very impressed with how you managed to keep the general look and feel of the new KCC templates without having the original files. Despite the fact that there are accessibility issues regarding the floating side navigation, the page is quite impressive.”
Thanks, very nice of you to say so. It is a shame that you ripped the page apart and put it in that loveley yellow/greem thing. I am coughing up stuff which is almost that exact color at the moment. Lovely.

These are stealth pictures off my small camera. This is my old job. If you look closely at the screen you can see, not work, but Webcrimon. Yup.
This is the old ladies who sat behind me and monitered my internet use. It was these people who I had to be careful of in case they saw the rude pictures that someone had put on the prettyshady book. I miss their banter now though

New job:
I had to go round and put up lots of posters about European Mobility Week, including this one. Then I had to go round and take them down again. Fascinating. -
Ok, let me give you an insight into my fantasticly exciting life. Tongight the weekend starts at 6 with the Simpsons. Classic TV. When that’s finished there’s nothing else on the box for a bit so I’ll cook some tea. Lasagne tonight I think.
Then the weekend really gets going at 8.30 with Friends. In reality I will be on msn, making some internet, but this will be on in the background I expect.
Friends is funny sometimes. Rebekah doesn’t find much stuff funny. This is especially true for Friends. It is pretty cheesy sometimes, and it is usually bad but every now and then there is a funny one liner.
What annoys me about it, especailly the more recent episodes is that the characters are so over characterised that it becomes ridiculous, and not funny.
Next up is new Simpsons. This is a watcher. Since it’s new i will probably record it as well so i have something to watch the rest of the time when nothing is on.
I really like the simpsons. I have about 10 videos all taped off the TV which I watch at lunchtime. Before I had The Office DVD the simpsons would just be on non-stop, but now they are interspersed with Animals and The Office.
It’s not the one with Blink 182 in tonight, it was just first picture I found.

Right now it’s 21:30. This is a tough choice. Do i go for the new series of Little Britain, or Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere. Peter Kay is funny, but I haven’t seen Little Britain for ages. I think I will record Max and Paddy, as I can leave the video running, and watch Little Britain.
Next up is something I’ve only got into recently – Peepshow. This is areally wierd program. It’s is quite funny, really cringing, and strangly fascinating. It’s about this strange guy who spys on this girl he fancys. It’s got a commentry in it, which usually makes programmes really bad, but it works in this.
This thrilling evening will then be finished off with Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, although if you are hardcore there is also Father Ted, Punk’d, and Bo! Selecta on Channel 4.Jonathan Ross can be funny sometimes too, but it is quite rare – it depends what guests he has on. Tonight there is Matt Lucas and David Walliams being interviewed which will probably be funny. U2 are also on which might be interesting although I am not a big fan.
That killed 5 minutes.
